More G-Love

are never a bad thing. Last night I got to see G Love and Special Sause for FREE at the Vic theater, compliments of my friend Camilla, and her awsome connections! It was a great show! They rocked! Drinks were riduckulous($6 for a miller lite! PLEASE), which only gave me more reasons not to drink. But they were sponsored by Camel, and though I dont smoke, or promote smoking, I did enjoy the Spin Art booth where you could spin paint an old 45 record and take it home with you. Plus the Crazy Camel photo booth was sweet.
Good tikes were had by all...and he played all of my three favorite songs: Rodeo Clowns, I like Cold Beverages, and My baby's got sause. Plus a really cool cover of Why dont we do it in the road by the Beatles.

So my theater company The Storytellers has been running around Chicago Parks this summer performing a small 30 min one act called When Shakespeare's Ladies Meet. It is a silly farce about some famous leading ladies meeting in Juliet's garden to talk her out of waisting her life on Romeo. We have been well recieved. We have made $50 bucks in donations, and had a grand total of about 48 audience members so far in 6 park performances. Not bad I think. Our fundraiser is monday night at an actual theater, and that is where we expect to make the most $. It has been a lovely time working with some great women, and performing to strangers who were so greatful for the show. This pic is from tonights performance in Grant park. I am sitting on our one set piece, and the picture is taken from the audience perspective. And there were BUNNIES in the garden! this shot was just after the show ended.
